Winter Snowballs

This is a winter dessert my mother used to make for us when we were little.  It is snowball ice cream.

You scoop vanilla ice cream into little round “snowballs”.  Then roll them in white coconut shavings.  Put them in a freezer container and harden the snowballs.  Serve them in a sundae cup, three to a cup with a few slices on top of fresh strawberry.

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Actually rarely do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your concept is excellent; the difficulty is one thing that not enough people are talking intelligently about. I’m very joyful that I stumbled throughout this in my search for one thing regarding this.
